Manchester City scored from two penalties on the way to a comfortable victory against Newcastle. Ryan Taylor's handball led to their first, scored by Mario Balotelli. Sergio Aguero then threaded the ball through for Micah Richards to finish. Richards won the penalty that led to City's third as he was pushed by Hatem Ben Arfa and Aguero made no mistake. But Newcastle managed a late consolation as Dan Gosling tapped in after Demba Ba's shot was parried.
