Tamale North MP Under Pressure

The Tamale North constituency NDC chairman, Alhaji Osman Musah, has threatened to organise a massive demonstration against his Member of Parliament, Hon. Alhaji Abukari Sumani. He has accused Hon. Sumani of sowing seeds of hatred among party members which could cause the NDCs defeat in the constituency in 2012. The irritated NDC chairman told citifmonline. com that nothing will stop him from organising the demonstration if the MP attempts to subvert the powers of the constituency executives. Alhaji Musah said the MP as part of his selfish agenda asked the party executives to stop renovation works on the constituency office which was burnt by irate Andani youth at the time all the Abudu suspects standing trial in connection with the Yaa-Naa murder case were freed. According to him, some philanthropists donated towards the renovation of the burnt party office which the MP is against because he failed to fix it. He anticipated that Hon. Sumani could be defeated during the upcoming NDC Parliamentary primary, hence his decision to create confusion in the constituency.
