Gbagbo's Daughter Chides UN for Dads Arrest

The daughter of ex-Ivorian president Laurent Gbagbo, Marie-Antoinette Singleton has accused some European countries of being responsible for the unfair arrest and detention of her father. President Gbagbo was transferred to the International Criminal Court (ICC) at The Hague on Tuesday to face charges of rape and murder among others after his in April this year. Speaking exclusively to Citi News, Marie-Antoinette Singleton described the transfer of her father as a wrong turn, in attempts by the international community to reconcile Cote DIvoire. She intimated that It has already gone wrong, by not checking Ouattarra, Guillaume Soro and the people who started this war. So how are they going to look at any evidence and find him [Gbagbo] guilty, I cant even speak of that. If they are going to give justice then we have to go to the beginning of the issue, ready to prove whatever allegation brought against him. She also accused the UN of funding Ouattarras army and rebellion for ten years. Singleton revealed to Citi News that the Gbagbo family is presently going through a difficult time.
