A new political party, which aims to provide an equal platform for all Ghanaians, irrespective of where they come from, has been presented with a provisional certificate by the Electoral Commission (EC). Founded and led by W. O.1 Richard Nixon Tetteh (retd), the Unity Development System Party (UDSP) also aims to offer Ghanaians the opportunity to live and trade happily among themselves as well as improve greatly upon the infrastructure needs of the country. With its head office in Accra, the UDSP also aims to place a premium on public and civil servants, health workers, farmers and the Ghanaian business community, while strengthening and reforming the administration of the security network. It further hopes to improve on the countrys educational system and place more emphasis on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) development. The Director of Elections of the EC, Mr Kofi Asamoah, who presented the certificate, wished the party well and challenged the leadership to create an impact on the countrys political landscape. Receiving the certificate, W. O. 1 Tetteh said the party was founded with the foremost objective of ensuring the total well-being of all Ghanaians.
