Ablakwa, John Tia & Quashigah Must All Go On Leave To Save NDC

A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) communication team in the Ashanti region, Donkor Fuseini, has said members of the government communication team who are contesting in the upcoming NDC primaries should proceed on leave until the elections are over. Fuseini, who doubles as the NADMO boss for Nsuta Beposo, cited the Minister for Information John Tia, his deputy Okudzeto Ablakwa and the partys Propaganda Secretary Richard Quashigah as those who should proceed on leave, saying their divided attention is seriously affecting coordination between the party and the government communication team. What I am asking is that Hon. John Tia, Okudzeto Ablakwa and especially Quashigah should all apply for their annual leave and their deputies should be appointed to act in their stead, Fuseini suggested. I am a member of the regional communications team in the Ashanti region and as I am speaking to you now no coordination is going on between the party and the governments communication team. Okudzeto is busy in his constituency, John Tia and Quashigah are also busy in their constituencies, if these people are having their primaries, simple, they should go on leave. Meanwhile, the Information Minister, Hon. Tia said contesting for parliamentary tickets for the NDC is in no way affecting their work as ministers and members of the governments communication team. This is not the first time Ministers of State have contested elections while in office. In the previous administration and in the NDC 1 it happened so what is the hue and cry about this, the minister argued.
