NPP MP Is Going Senile Because Of Old Age - Fulani Chief

Chief of the Fulanis in Ghana, Alhaji Mohammed Bingle, has described as unfortunate, remarks by P.C Appiah Ofori, Member of Parliament for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa, any reprisal attacks on Fulani nomads is justified. According to him, as a legislator, the NPP MP should have known better than to advocate for people to kill Fulanis and opines that he is going senile as a result of old-age. The outspoken New Patriotic Party (NPP) member told Citi News that any reprisal attacks on Fulani nomads is justified. According to him, he has no sympathies for any nomad who gets lynched for suspected crimes committed against their local hosts. He said Ghanaians have the legal right to defend themselves when they come under any form of attack from the herdsmen. Its unfortunate that this statement will come from a lawmaker. I dont know the words to use... If this is the case, what is the use of the law agencies? I think the man is getting senile as a result of oldage. Let us find amicable way of doing things rather than encouraging them to kill, Alhaji Bingle said in an interview on PeaceFM News@6pm. However, P.C. Appiah Ofori justified his position, saying it is ones right to defend himself or herself. Speaking in an interview on Peace FM the NPP MP said: you have the right to defend yourself. Its a known fact that Fulanis came to the North to kill GhanaiansThey killed our women and slept with some of them and so are we at fault if we do the same thing to them? Is it right for them to come into the country to kill us? Should we encourage it? If they kill Ghanaians, I will support any action directed to themthey (critics) are entitled to their position; as for me, I said if you hit me I will hit you back.
