The New Patriotic Party (NPP) minority in Parliament should brace themselves for a legal showdown as solicitors of NDC financier, Alfred Woyome, serve notice they will sue them for meddling in the GhC42 million judgment debt saga. An additional solicitor of embattled Woyome, Mr. David Annan, disclosed to Citi News that the minority caucus has brought troubles to themselves by discussing a case that is still in court. The NPP minority on Tuesday alleged at a press conference that Mr. Woyome and a former Attorney General, Betty Mould-Iddrisu, connived to dupe the state of that whopping amount in judgment debt after the former�s contract to rehabilitate some stadia ahead of the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations was terminated. Mr. Annan also hinted that the media will be sued jointly for providing their platforms to personalities, especially the NPP Member of Parliament for Assin North, Kennedy Agyepong, to malign his client. �We�ll take legal action against them because it�s clear interference,� Mr. Annan said. �All those commenting adversely on this matter we�ll take legal action against them and the various radio stations and personalities and especially Ken Agyepong. � He added, �We are taking certain legal measures [against] the minority [NPP] in Parliament. You can�t go on air and speak against it. They won�t have a very happy Christmas. �
