Woyomes Case Adjourned

The case between the Attorney General and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) financier, Alfred Woyome, has been adjourned to January 16, 2012. The Attorney General was represented in court by Jasmeen Armah whiles the embattled NDC bankroller was represented by his counsel Robertson Kpatsa. The case being held is a seven-month-old suit initiated by the Attorney General against Mr. Woyome over the settlement schedule of his judgment debt. An additional solicitor of Mr. Woyome, Mr. David Annan, on Wednesday told Citi News the suit arose out of the first case filed by the A-Gs department by former Justice Minister Betty Mould-Iddrisu to stay the payment of the judgment debt following the detection of certain discrepancies in the amount owed Mr. Woyome contrary to what the court had directed be paid.
