"Betty MouldIddrisu Still Shines Despite NPP Attacks"

Joseph Yammin, the Ashanti regional Secretary for the ruling political party says that the largest opposition, the NPP is capitalizing on the ongoing Waterville/Government of Ghana judgment debt issue to misinform electorates and incite them against the NDC in next years election. He believes the NPP is once again showing its desperation for power through their stance and utterances on this issue. In a press statement, the NDC scribe said there have been several high profile contracts which were abrogated by the NPP in their eight-year reign and it all came with huge costs which the NPP settled when in power. A typical example is the abrogation of the Contract between the Ghana Telecom (now Vodafone Ghana) and the Malaysian Telecommunication Company when the NPP assumed Power. This betrayal of Contract cost Ghana huge sums of money because the Malaysians dragged the Republic of Ghana to the International court of Justice. The court awarded huge cost to the Malaysians and this was paid by Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo as the Minister of justice, he said.
