Kwesi Amakye Has Exposed His Political Colours Ablakwa

A deputy Minister of Information, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has questioned the neutrality of a political science lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kwesi Amakye, and said he does not deserve the accolade as an independent commentator. Ablakwa said Amakye is not a neutral player after calling on Ghanaians to vote for the main opposition New Patriotic Party candidate Nana Akufo-Addo in this years election. The lecturer told Citi News on Tuesday that he will be surprised if Ghanaians re-elect president Mills for a second term considering what he described as the Mills administrations utter failure. However, Ablakwa in an interview with Radio Gold on Wednesday said the medias independent commentator has exposed his political colours after letting us into his mindset and tells us where he belongs. Mr. Amakye said President Mills has totally failed Ghanaians in tackling corruption and does not deserve a second term in office. He cited the raging Woyome saga and the allegations of corruption against former Sports Minister, Muntaka Mubarak to buttress his point. He also said the Presidents inability to curb the politics of insult is indicative he doesn't merit another four-year mandate. Is it Mills who asked Akufo-Addo to insult him that he is Professor do little, is it Mills who asked Ken Agyepong to insult Alhaji Bature Mills has rather been at the receiving end and this is so funny, Ablakwa said. He added, In the case of Muntaka, he resigned and the President took action so what has the President done to Amakye? Amakye could not respond to Ablakwas assertions because he had a paper to present.
