A group within the ruling National Democratic Congress in the Volta Region claims the unprovoked media attacks on and constant vilification of the former Honorary Vice Consul of Austria to Ghana, Alfred Agbesi Woyome, is being orchestrated by the Akufo-Addo New Patriotic Party (NPP) and their surrogates in the ruling party including a Deputy Minister of Information. At a press conference in Accra today, the Youth For Action Group (YAG) questioned why Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has refused to use the information machinery to defend the President�s stance, same way as he is doing in the tango with IMANI-Ghana over the $3bn Chinese loan being procured by Government. �It is strange Okudzeto claims to be loyal to the President yet refuse to allow the Government communication team to openly defend the stance of the President. Why does he not want Woyome who has won a court judgment to be defended publicly? Whose interest is Okudzeto serving, NPP or the president and the NDC?� the Volta Regional NDC Youth for Action quizzed.
