Curfew Remains At Kwame Danso Till Death Probe Ends - Police Declares

The residents of Kwame Danso in the Sene district in the Brong Ahafo region have would have to to endure the current curfew imposed on them by the Security Agencies in the region. A 12-hour curfew was imposed on the town after skirmishes led to the death of two people and the near-lynching of a Police officer. Speaking to Citi News, the Brong Ahafo Regional minister and Chairman of the Regional Security Council, Kojo Nyamekye Marfo said the curfew still continues as police investigation into the clashes is on course. "We are still taking reports from the ground yesterday, some arrests were made. We are looking for the perpetrators. Until we are able to get some of them, the curfew could be until Sunday or Monday,� he said. About 130 people have so far been rounded up by the police in Kwame-Danso, in the Sene District.
