President Mills Snubs Poor Boy!

The President of the Republic of Ghana, John Evans Atta Mils yesterday finally confirmed that he has little or no interest in pursuing the well-being of ordinary Ghanaians when he said that the state can do little or nothing about a case involving a young man who was thrown into custody illegally for fourteen years! The young man was allegedly in prison custody for fourteen years for a crime he did not commit. The poor boy, according to reports, courtesy the Metro TV news, is currently out of jail and is wandering in the streets of the capital with signs of frustrations written on all over his face. He wants nothing but justice, but the president is apparently totally uninterested. Answering a question on this matter yesterday, which was posed to him by a journalist from Metro TV at the editors forum held at the Castle, he categorically stated that he was not around for all these fourteen years and therefore he could do nothing about the case neither was he responsible for the poor boys predicaments.
