The Director of Education at the Police Training School in Accra, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Kofi Boakye is now a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP).
Kofi Boakye was interdicted after his name came up in the infamous MV Benjamin cocaine scandal in 2006.
He was, however, cleared of any wrongdoing and re-instated in January 2009.
Key suspects in the case were also acquitted and discharged by the court.
