Sweden Appoints New Trade Council Manager For Ghana

The first of December 2011 was the first day of the new office manager, Nina Rehnqvist, at the Swedish Trade Council in Lagos, which is also responsible for Ghana and other English-speaking West African countries. For the last 11 years Nina has worked for Ericsson, mainly in the areas of project management and Supply and Logistics. During this time she has worked with Africa for five years, of which three were spent in South Africa where she was responsible for an organisation located in a number of countries in the Sub-Saharan region. Nina has lived and worked in a number of countries and has seen the possibilities and positive outcome from Swedish companies investing in emerging markets. Nina says: "Africa has its challenges when it comes to foreign investments but with the current speed of development it can be very rewarding.
