NDC Founding Member Calls For NDC In The Party

A founding member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Kofi Mintah has appealed to members of the Party to bury their differences and unite to ensure electoral victory in the December General poll. Addressing a ward meeting of the Party at Winneba in the Central Region, Mr Mintah who was the first Regional Chairman of the NDC, expressed dissatisfaction about how fragmented the Party had become due to petty misunderstandings between members. Mr Mintah urged parliamentary aspirants of the NDC to ensure that their actions and inactions during the primaries should not create any problem for the Party. He asked the aspirants to bear in mind that they belong to the NDC family and should therefore conduct their activities devoid of acrimony and mudslinging to enable losers at the primaries to rally behind the winners to campaign for votes in the run-up to the general election. Mr Mintah appealed to the supporters of the party to be vigilant to prevent opponents from infiltrating their ranks to foment trouble. Do not allow opponents to use money to buy you to create confusion in the Party, he stressed. The Founding Member advised supporters to cease demonstrations against Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives and other government appointees and rather cooperate with them to build a solid Party in the constituencies.
