Some Ministers To Become Unemployed

There are very strong indications that some Ministers in the Mills administration will very soon become unemployed. Reports from the centre of Government say that the President is in a no-nonsense mood and is ready to fire all persons who may be implicated in the Woyome affair. Insiders at The Castle told The Insight newspaper that the President told a few of his confidants that nobody will be spared. I am just waiting for the EOCO report to establish the truth and if anybody has done something wrong there will be no mercy, he is reported to have said. The President insists that he does not know about the circumstances under which as much as GH58 million was paid. I have asked for the full facts and as soon as they are known, we will act decisively the sources claim he said. Meanwhile the Auditor-General has denied that as much as GH48 million was paid to Mr. Alfred Woyome in 2010. A press release from the Auditor-Generals Department claimed that only GH17 million was paid in that year. This puts to rest the claim by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that the amount paid to Mr. Woyome in 2010 exceeded what the court ordered.
