Alban Bagbins Constituency Still In Contention

The Minister for Water Resources Works and Housing and MP for Nadowli West Alban Bagbin would have to hold on for a while to know his fate, as the Nadowli West Constituency elections have come under some controversy. A deputy General Secretary of the NDC George Lawson has told Citi News the main contender of the incumbent MP who was disqualified on grounds of telling lies to the vetting committee, Roger Gaalee has dragged the issue to court for which reason the election has been put on hold. According to Mr. Lawson, Roger Gaalee was asked whether he has been convicted before amongst other questions which he denied and gave answers which were later found to be incorrect. He also added that the party executives are meeting over the issue and details would be made available by Tuesday.
