Reports reaching peacefmonline.com say fear and terror has gripped students of Asante-Mampong Midwifery and Health Assistants Training College following a raid on a female hostel by a group of armed robbers this dawn. The armed robbers, numbering about six, robbed the students of their properties and raped some of them in the process. HelloFM's reporter, Isaac Owusu, who visited the hostel reports that the robbers made away with laptops, mobile phones and other digital gadgets. They also made away with some unspecified amount of money belonging to the students. According to him, a student who was nearly raped described the experience as horrific as the robbers, armed with sharpened knives and machetes, threatened to kill them if they did not comply with their demands. "A student who was raped reportedly fell unconscious and is currently on admission at a nearby hospital," HelloFM's reporter said quoting eyewitnesses account.� Meanwhile, the police has began investigations into the dawn raid cum rape by the armed robbers.�
