Election is currently underway at the Odododiodio constituency after the police managed to restore some semblance of peace. There were reports of confusion and tension at the constituency pre-election when some unaccredited individuals stormed the venue to disrupt the process. The police, constituency and regional executives have managed to drive the thugs away and voting is currently ongoing. The competition is between incumbent MP Jonathan Nii Tackie Komme, Presidential aide, Nii Lante Vanderpuije and Walid Anyertei Laryea. 495 delegates are expected to vote to elect the Parliamentary candidate. Security is very tight in and outside the venue.
