The Electoral Commission Retired Staff Association (ECRSA) was inaugurated in Accra on Friday to help promote unity, and cordial relationship among its pension staff, the Commission and working staff. Executive members of the association, sworn in by Mrs Rebecca Kabukie Adjalo, Member of the Electoral Commission (EC), are Mr Samuel Ntow, Chairman, Mr Ben Gordon Akushie, Vice Chairman and Ms Christiana Quao, Secretary. Others are Madam Mary Mframa, Assistant Secretary, Madam Stella Aninakwa, Financial Secretary, Madam Ayishetu Musah, Treasurer and Mr Solomon Aryee, Organising Secretary. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Ntow said ECRSA would work to promote the interest and welfare of members, as well as assist to undertake activities worthy of emulation to improve the image of the commission. He stated that members of the association are ready to offer their services to the commission when the need arises. Dr Kwadwo Afari-Gyan, Chairman of the EC described the ceremony as historic and called on the members to endeavour to offer their experience and knowledge in the interest of the commission.
