Mills Appoints Prof. Anyidoho And Others As Council Members For Two Universities

President John Evans Mills, in his bid to build two universities in the country has appointed prominent Ghanaians to serve as interim council members. The two universities are University of Health and Allied Sciences to be established in the Volta region and University of Energy and Natural Resources also to be established in the Brong Ahafo regions. Following the promulgation of the Act, President Mills appointed Prof. Kofi Anyidoho of University of Ghana to serve as the interim chairman for the council of University of Health and Allied Sciences. Other members of the Prof. Anyidoho council are, Justice Agnes Dzodzi, Dr. Sodzi Sodzi Tetteh, Dr. Yaw Adu Gyamfi, Togbe Tepre Hodo IV, the paramount chief of Anfoega traditional area and Prof. Ernest Aryeetey. Prof. Aba Andam is appointed to serve as the interim chairperson of the University of Energy and Natural Resources. Other members are Prof. Emeritus Elizabeth, Ardayfio-Schandorf, Mr. Paul Effah, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman-Badu, Okofrobuor Dr. Yaw Agyei II and Prof. William Otoo Ellis. The above appointment was contained in a release signed by the head of communications at the presidency, Koku Anyidoho.
