Ken Agyapong: I Say Sorry To Prez Mills

Outspoken NPP Member of Parliament for Assin North, Hon Kennedy Agyapong has rendered a sincere apology to President John Evans Atta Mills over some derogatory remarks he (Ken) made about him during the recent NPP rally at James Town (Mantse Agbona). The NPP MP, who rendered the apology on Adom FM on Friday, said he took the decision after sober reflection following calls from friends and loved ones expressing concern over his choice of words. Were all human beings; if you do something and the society think such a statement shouldnt come from you, then you as a human being... admit your mistake...I have a soft spot for the President...I can apologise to Prez Mills, you don't have to be one to raise the issue...I say sorry to Prez Mills, he said. It would be recalled that, the Assin North MP, addressing supporters and sympathizers of the NPP at the "gargantuan" rally last Saturday, described President Mills as a "hypocrite", "Ghana's number one thief" and even promised that he (Mills) will be jailed if he ever pays any judgment debt again should the NPP regain power. The NPP firebrand confessed that he has a soft spot for the President, but warned that if the NDC fail to desist from tagging the NPP flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo with allegations of being a "wee" and a "cocaine" smoker and references to "bottoms, the NPP will be forced to toe that line too.
