The Records Department and other offices of the Lands Commission have been ravaged by fire.
Eyewitnesses claim the fire which started at about 5am on Thursday, completely destroyed the building sited close to the Cantonments post office.
Plumes of thick smoke can be seen billowing from the scene but personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service are currently dealing with the fire.
