When Nana Addo Speaks, Govt Machinery Is Set In Hallucinatory Rides Of Confusion

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has hit back at attempts by government functionaries to sneer at the performance of their flagbearer during a recent interview on BBC saying it has become obvious that anytime Nana Akufo-Addo speaks, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the whole government machinery is set in hallucinatory rides of confusion and agony. The NPP Flagbearer, on Friday, appeared on the world renowned BBC flagship programme, HARDtalk, and was subjected to a barrage of questions by the host Stephen Sackur. Moments after the interview, some members of the NDCs Communication Team pooh-poohed the interview accusing Nana Addo of fumbling with his answers. But in a press statement issued by the partys Youth Wing and signed by its National Youth Organiser, Anthony Karbo, the NPP described as shameless the "hypocrisy in the criticisms of the NDC on the performance of Nana Akufo-Addo". First, we have heard some say that Nana Akufo-Addo fumbled throughout the interview. It is obvious that many of those who have gone on this tangent are unaware of what fumbling is. Fumbling is when a speaker gets so confused that instead of saying economy he ends up saying ecomini. Fumbling is when a corrupt leader finds all sorts of absurd explanations to justify the corrupt behavior of Minister who spends state money on a girlfriends travel and pampers for his baby...In no way can Nana Akufo-Addo be said to have fumbled on Hardtalk and anyone who goes on that tangent is either ignorant of the meaning of fumbling or is someone who does not appreciate the intelligent issues raised by the flagbearer of the NPP on the programme, the statement read.
