ABOUT 80 precent of ministers in ex-President John Dramani Mahama’s National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration were very rude, according to a top member of the largest opposition political party.
Alhaji Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah, affectionately known as ‘Alhaji PMC’, unleashing the ‘bombshell’, stated that “just about 20 per cent of ex-President Mahama’s ministers were respectful; the rest were very disrespectful”.
According to him, even though he was the national treasurer of the NDC during Mr. Mahama’s regime, he did not bother to visit most of the appointees in his own government because he did not want to be disrespected.
“Even if you put a knife in my throat I will not mention names, but I can boldly state without any shred of doubt that most of Mr. Mahama’s appointees, some of whom were very young, did not show any respect to people.
“I once visited the office of one of Mr. Mahama’s ministers, who was very young. And he did not even give me a chair to sit on. I was surprised when that minister asked me about my mission in his office whilst I was still on my feet,” he disclosed.
It would be recalled that most of the appointees of Messrs Mills and Mahama were tagged as arrogant and disrespectful. They were even named as “Babies with sharp teeth” by NDC Founder, Jerry John Rawlings, because they were rude.
Alhaji PMC, who was speaking with Kumasi-based Otec FM on Wednesday, announced that he had quit active politics, citing old age and the appalling manner in which he was treated during Mr. Mahama’s regime as factors that influenced his decision.
He disclosed that he did not make a single visit to Mr. Mahama’s office when he (Mahama) was the president of Ghana for four years, stressing that he is not a beggar to be frequenting the office of the then president.
The former NDC National Treasurer lamented that he was maltreated and disrespected when Mr. Mahama was the president, noting that there is no need for him to continue wasting his time and resources in politics now.
According to him, he has suffered a lot during the last four years and he thinks that it is high time that he quits active politics, indicating that nothing can influence him to rescind his decision.

WELL SAID...AKRONFO0 NKOAAA NSO
EVERYONE KNOWS THAT MAHAMA IS VERY RUDE THAT IS WHY GHANAIANS KICKED HIM OUT. HE WILL BE IN OPPOSITION TILL WHY KIMDOM COME
Alhaji is being considerate or charitable. The true figure is 95% say it loud and clear. The present corps outnumber the previous all put together. Just imagine dumping Wofa Yaw for Akamba, how can Ndc boast of reclaiming power. The NPP will win on a silver platter. A good and perfect opportunity once again.
Bufoons like kwaku boahen.Always arrogant and lying through his teeth
They are not only rude but also corrupt....
Ah, if we currently have a president who is very rude in Ghana, then what is the problem if even all the appointees of mahama were rude. Some people are shallow minded. Rudeness is an attitudinal issue. Depending on the environment in which one is brought up coupled with hereditary traits one acquires his personality. Its just unfortunate that some people adopt such traits, its just a matter of training that people change. If nana addo is now 74 and a president and is still rude and arrogant then, your guess is a good as mine. Look at someone like ursula, ken agyepong, mustapha hamid, tina mensa and carlos ahenkora, these are all rude. However rudeness and competence are different ball games together. Hannah tetteh is often seen as rude, but she has been one of the most competent women that Ghana can boast of.
This is not news. That Mahama's appointees were very rude. esp, the young once. Surprisingly they never realized it rudeness was one of the causes of their defeat. Look at the crops of executives they elected recently. People like Sammy Gymfi making noise on the airways
