The Ghana Institute of Journalism has announced the postponement of its re-opening for the 2014/2015 academic year.
A statement issued by the institute and signed by its registrar said the postponement, which is in line with a directive from the Ministry of Education to tertiary institutions to postpone the re-opening of the academic year for two weeks, will not affect fresh students for Diploma, Degree, & Postgraduate programmes.
According to the new programme, registration for continuing Diploma and Degree students will run from 27th to 29th August, 2014, with lectures for Regular & Top-up Evening students beginning on 1st September, 2014 while lectures for Top-up Weekend students begin on 6th September, 2014.
