The Education Ministry says all SHS 1 students across the country will be using the same prospectus.
According to the ministry’s spokesperson, school heads have no right to issue any other prospectus which has not been authorized by the ministry.
Kwesi Kwateng in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show, Ghana Montie urged parents to spurn prospectus from the schools.
“No parent should accept any prospectus; we are using a harmonized one,” he told host Mac Jerry Osei Agyemang.
First-year senior high school students across the country are expected to report to their respective schools on Monday, 4th December, despite calls for reconsideration of the reopening date.
Parents and other relevant stakeholders have called for an extension of the reporting date, citing various reasons, but the Ghana Education Service (GES) insisted on the December 4 date.
