A team of medical doctors from the US will arrive in the country in September, to carry out various surgeries at the Apam Catholic Mission Hospital, in the Central Region.
A principal enrolled nurse at the hospital, Ms Veronica Enninful who made this known at Apam at the weekend, appealed to the public who have medical problems to register with the hospital receive treatment from the team.
Ms Enninful made this known during an address to patients at the Out-Patient Department of the hospital. A health extension worker at hospital, Ms Esi Quarcoe, advised people suffering from eye problems to seek early treatment. She said cataract and glaucoma could be treated and appealed to patients to visit medical centres for treatment.
