Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale South, has warned that the unbridled attacks of the governing New Patriotic Party's (NPP) vigilante groups has become a threat to the country's national security.
NDC Minority MPs visit President Rawlings, beg him to lead party to 2020 elections According to Hon. Iddrisu, Ghanaians are living in fear because of the repeatedly violent attacks perpetrated by groups such as the NPP's Delta Force and Invincible Forces.
Speaking to Joy FM's Evans Mensah on Thursday, the Tamale South legislator opined that the President Nana Akufo-Addo's administration has failed to protect Ghanaians citizens from these unlawful attacks.
"We are concerned and worried about the creeping lawlessness in the country and the inability of President Akufo-Addo and supported by the security agencies to nip this in the bud,” he said.

It is strange that some people in the NDC are beginning to see the threat threat that hooliganism poses to the security of the Ghanaian. Is it hypocrisy or it is selective amnesia? When Tamale was thrown into chaos when NDC foot soldiers went on the rampage destroying/burning party property and portraits and billboards of the then sitting president because some persons of their choice were not given a political appointment, these same persons were quiet or pretended that nothing was happening. I detest what is happening in Ghana now, but that is what happens when people put their parochial interest above National interest. let us look at what is happening as a National catastrophe waiting to happen and address it devoid of political pontification. We do not need these blame passes now, we a concerted effort, whether they are Azorka boys, Invincible or Delta Forces, their actions will bring development to Ghana and should be disbanded
Haruna Idrisu saw nothing wrong with Azorka Boys. He was also comfortable with the activities of Collins Dauda's brother. You do not have the moral right to talk about Delta force. Hypocreate!
