The family of the late Ahmed Hussein-Suale has warned lawmaker, Kennedy Agyapong to desist from spreading falsehood claims that their son was in his ‘good books’ and that he [Kennedy] also assisted Ahmed to pay his school fees.
“We want to clarify this. Kennedy never met Ahmed and he never paid his school fees,” a spokesperson for the family, Dr. Mustapha Iddrisu has said in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’.
According to him, the family has always had the wherewithal to fund the education of its members and Hussein-Suale was not an exception.
“This assertion is nothing but the desperation of an overly excited person over the demise of our son and the exploitation of the ‘perpetual silence of the dead’. Suale is one of many graduates in the family and all his siblings are sponsored from within the family resources,” he noted.
Ahmed who is a member of a private investigative group, Tiger Eye P.I was killed by some unknown assailants who shot him three times.
This comes after the Assin Central MP had shown his picture to the public calling on them to beat him up due to his involvement in Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ infamous Number 12 exposé.
After Ahmed was killed, the outspoken Kennedy Agyapong offered to give GH¢100,000 from his personal coffers to anyone who provides useful information on the persons who shot and killed the key associate of renowned investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas last month.
But Ahmed’s family has decried the NPP guru's GH¢100,000 bounty on the killers as diversionary.
Dr. Iddrisu explained that at no point did their deceased family member feel a sense of immense insecurity until “Kennedy Agyapong splashed his photographs in the media with his accompanying incitement of violence against him.”
“What kind of hypocrisy is that?” he quizzed.
"We are appealing to Mr. Agyapong to allow the innocent soul of our son, father and brother to rest in eternal peace,” the spokesperson told host Kwesi Aboagye.

If being rich is tantamount to misconduct as being displayed by dishonorable Kennedy Agyapong, then I would forever wish to remain at this current level. Good name is indeed better than riches.
Did his family ask where he got all that wealth? I know a lot of journalist who are doing well materially, but don't have that type of wealth Ahmed had. The type of work he did resulted in people dying, he has blood on his hands.
@ Mr. kwabena what?! Ken a reflection of what? you don't seem to pay attention to what is going on. So what about the lies he told about paying his school fees. I hope ken is not using magic on some of you.
KINGS HANDS ARE TAINTED WITH BLOOD HE WILL PAY FOR IT SOON
Kennedy agyapong is a reflection of truth. Why is Ahmeds family rushing things out and discrediting Ken? Anas has shown that he is not a credible person. The family of Ahmed should be objective and listen to both sides so that they can make informed judgements.they fact that they are close to anas doesn't mean he cant hurt them.Aboaa a )beka wo no ofri wonntuma mu. To wit" the one closer to you is the one who will kill or hurt you"
