The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has reacted to media reports suggesting that the military has evicted De-Eye Group from the Osu Castle, following Joy News documentary that suggested the group was using the castle as its training grounds.
In a press statement, the Ghana Armed Forces said “it has not deployed any soldier to the Osu Castle for the stated purpose...Indeed no soldier has been assigned to follow any official to the former seat of Government for such an activity. This allegation is completely false”

RE- SOLDIERS CLEAR OUT DE-EYE GROUP OVER JOY NEWS EXPOSÉ
The attention of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has been drawn to a Ghanaweb.com story with the above headline on Friday 8 March 2019. The story which was sourced from Myjoyonline.com alleged some officials from the Jubilee House in the company of soldiers have gone to lock up the offices of the De-Eye Group.
GAF wishes to state categorically that it has not deployed any soldier to the Osu Castle for the stated purpose. Indeed no soldier has been assigned to follow any official to the former seat of Government for such an activity. This allegation is completely false.
Once again, we wish to urge the media to be circumspect in their reportage on the GAF at all times. The office of the Director of Public Relations is always open to the media to cross check their stories before they put them out.

E. AGGREY QUASHIE

Who listens to oman fm apart from npp supporters? I think npp must be careful with their banter with the media. The media are the king makers and if they reject npp, no amount of brutalities during 2020 will make npp win power again. All their diabolic activities will be exposed. Until recently, the multi media group and CITI group were friends of NPP. They led the campaign against illegal mining. Therefore I cannot believe why Oppong Nkrumah who happened to be a media man is now painting these groups black. One thing is for sure, the NPP hate to be exposed, when they are exposed, they always find a way to fight back, but their fighting back rather create problems for them. In the coming weeks, joy fm and citi fm are going to bring more expose` on NPP rots. Stay tuned. It's unfortunate that NANA ADDO openly said he will use the ANAS principle to work, but now he is waging war against investigative journalism.
The NPP does not even know what they are doing now. Discrediting joy fm is like digging your own grave to opposition. The multimedia group is the biggest platform widely listened to by Ghanaians and if nana addo and his cohorts are doing ecerything to tarnish the hard won image of this group, then they should be prepared to hand over very soon. If multimedia boycott NPP programs, which TV or radio stations can promote the business of government in Ghana. Asempa, Adom, Joy, Love and the rest of multimedia platforms brought nana addo to power. If today, nana addo and his cohorts are fighting them, to the extent of even using the GAF to discredit them, then I am sure they will also continue to expose the government to Ghanaians. No one says when the multimedia is wrong it must not be said. But it's clear that the NPP are now at war with the group just because of Mannessah's project, which is very credible.
AT LEAST AZURE MANNASEH AND JOY COULD HAVE CHECK BEFORE MAKING SUCH PUBLICATION. YOU CANNOT DRAG SOLDIERS TO YOUR DIRTYY POLITICAL AGENDA.
Joy Fm must sit up, because your credibility is at stake
It very shameful that soon after the Ofosu Ampofo leaked tape in which the NDC minority leader Haruna Iddrisu is heard alleging to have compromised Joy and Citi FM journalists, Joy would be embarking on such feckless propaganda
