I suspect a foul play by the organizers in switching the award of the Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the year from Shatta to Stoneboy. It is likely someone who had information to the award winners, i.e. after KPMG presented the bag full of the awards to the organisers on stage, to have leaked information to Shatta that he had won Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the year. So I again suspect that Shatta might have reacted angrily to the announcement of Stoneboy as the winner. My big question is that DO THE ORGANISERS KNOW THE WINNERS OF THE AWARDS BEFORE EACH ANNOUNCEMENT? WHY WAS THE ARTISE OF THE YEARS NOT ANNOUNCE? - I suspect they know that Shatta won, and if it is so, how did they know? Then my suspicion that someone leaked information to Shatta could be true.
Those who carry guns in Ghana, do they undergo periodic background checks conducted by the police? This is a good time for the police to review criteria for private gun ownership. But I know Ghana pple wont do it. They will rather wait for something bad to happen and then the govt will set up a commission of inquiry, then the commission's report will be shelved forever - no change. Back to square one. What a country?
