Earlier today we reported on the Ghana Police carrying out a completely needless commissioning of a newly built elevator.
Somehow, a simple elevator has become important enough to be commissioned, by none other than the almighty Inspector General of Police, who presumably had nothing better to do.
Ghanaians, thankfully, are not buying their b*llsh*t, and people are roasting the service nonstop for their misplaced priorities.
The police service’s twitter account posted photos of the commissioning and Ghanaians were on hand to roast them mercilessly.
Check out some of the reactions below…

You are getting it all wrong!!! We agree all these infrastructures are very necessary at all times for easy access to all citizenry!! The point is that a whole IGP takes or waste so much time commissioning an elevator! In the first place was this funfare or commissioning very necessary? Sure some funds may have been committed into the organisation of this commissioning!!
Even your presidents are claiming victory for kvip construction why won't the IGP commission elevator.
It is sad people will call this trivialities. If you have legs and can walk up to all the floors there thank God. How many times haven't persons living with disabilities asked government to provide access including elevators in public spaces yet this is not done. I will applaud the Police for this initiative and I call on all organisations to do same and also ensure that persons living with disabilities and the aged have unhindered access to all public spaces. The politicians can do their politics with these important provision but let them wait until they get into certain conditions then they will understand how "trivial" certain necessities are.
ITS SO SAD. SO THE GHANA POLICE INSPECTOR HAD NOTHING MEANINGFUL TO OFFER GHANAIAN'S THAN COMMISSIONING OF ELEVATOR? WHATS SORTS OF PEOPLE IN AUTHORITY DO WE HAVE IN GHANA. IT'S SO PATHETIC.
