4 Pastors arrested by the Police in Volta Region and jailed for failing to comply with Impositions of Restrictions Act. 14 Persons arrested by the Police in Somanya and Charged to Court for performing Dipo rights. 8 persons were arrested in Nungua by the Police and Charged to court for organising a party. However the same Police were there in their numbers to provide protection for the Installation of a Chief in Akuapem in clear breach of the impositions of Restrictions Act in relation to Social Distancing directives of the President of the Republic of Ghana. Double Standards by the Ghana Police Service. God always has a way of exposing the hypocrisy in humans.
Ghana is joking with COVID-19, we are chasing the virus instead of fighting the virus. We need to put aside our useleees interest and unethical approach in the fight, else our situation would be worse than USA and Italy
A man of god was jailed in kumasi, but EC organizing workshop at a hotel disregarding social distancing- President sees nothing wrong even when there is court injunction. We have to be principled and fair minded in fighting the pandemic else Ghana will suffer. Coronavirus has no boundary- Ghana first before individual stupiiid and inward interest
The president cannot fight covid-19 using politics. 49 people have been on remand for three weeks for attending wedding reception- disregard social distancing. Installation of a chief in Akuapen area involved more than 100 people - a whole township with security escort and no one is arrested- total disregard social distancing. How does the president expect public to obey his directives. Is it because his father comes from the area. The inconsistencies must stop. Do we have two types of social distance rules. chieftancy installation vrs. wedding reception. COVID-19 task force to come out and explain to the public
F*u*c*k Covid, we move.
Testing and tracing is how they get these numbers, we understand. But as the number keeps going up and never stay same or betterstill still reduce, it is imperative and logical to conclude that there are many people who has COVID 19 who keeps spreading the disease unknowingly and that has ripple effects. It is also safe to say that the lifting of the lockdown in Accra is where we have this all over Ghana now. The large numbers of these cases are in Accra. We forgive that government didn't lockdown Accra earlier. But to lockdown later and just after three weeks lift it hurriedly, is a bad decision. I think the approach the government has taken is, let's allow this to spread and people will get healed by themselves, let those who die die, because the number of deaths may be minimal. But even if one life dies of COVID 19, it is unacceptable. We elect leaders to solve problems and not to worsen it.
