The Communications Minister, Haruna Iddrisu, has challenge MTN to cut down call rates and also improve upon its network quality in order to ensure that Ghanaians get value for their money.
For instance, Zain Nigeria, in a bid to offer its customers more value for money, has introduced a new tariff plan with a reduced cost in making a call per second. The new Zain package tagged: Step Up, was designed to match the lifestyle and phone usage habit of volume callers. It enables customers to make calls, at a discounted rate regardless of the time of the day the call and network they choose to call.
