Following numerous request from corporate bodies and individuals to make donations to the historic World Youth cup winners, the Black Satellites, government has after consultations, set up a five member team to coordinate and receive all such donations.
A statement issued from the Ministry of Information and signed by Mr. James Agyenim Boateng, a Deputy Minister of Information said, the committee is chaired by Nii Oki Djanie, Chief Executive of NDK Financial Services.
�It would operate from the Ministry of Youth and Sports where all interested corporate bodies and individuals are encouraged to send their donations,� the statement said.
The statement added that other members of the Committee are a representative each of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
�The others are Sports enthusiasts Kojo Bonsu and Marketing Practitioners Mrs. Hellen Annan,� the statement ended.
