The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has received exhibit-packaging materials worth �5,000.
The materials, donated by the British High Commission last Monday in Accra, are to assist the police in packaging exhibits. They comprise exhibit covering bags and tapes for sealing exhibits.
Making the presentation, the British High Commission�s Liaison officer to the Ghana police Service, Mr. Keith Ashong, said the materials were to help the police in packaging exhibits. �It will assist in investigations and management of exhibits,� he added.
Receiving the presentation, the Director-General, CID, Commissioner of Police (COP) Prosper Agblor said the items would help in packaging exhibits effectively from the crime scene to the police station.
He said when the exhibits were not packaged well it affected the chain of custody.
