Government has inaugurated some newly created 46 districts and in all 10 regions across the country.
They range from at least three to as many as seven in certain regions.
Some communities in the newly created districts have raised qualms about the location of capitals for the new districts and threatened boycotting the ceremony.
Some of these communities include Binduri in the Upper East, Juapong in the Volta region, Bassa in the Brong Ahafo region and Ningo in the Greater Accra region.
But the Chiefs and People of Bassa in the Brong Ahafo region and Ningo in the Greater Accra region are protesting the location of capitals for the new districts.
Spokesperson for the Ningo Youth Association, Michael Doku says they will not cooperate with officials appointed because the right thing has not been done. Everybody wants development but development does not mean that the right thing should not be done he said.
