Reverend Father Alphousus Darkora, Parish Priest of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, has advised the youth to contribute their quota towards nation-building for the sake of posterity.
He urged the youth to be responsible for the development of their areas, in order to improve the living standards of people in the region.
Rev Fr Darkora gave the advice at a thanks-giving mass for some 22 newly-qualified medical doctors in Tamale.
He advised the new doctors to work very hard to save life, and warned them not to abandon their posts, because of monetary issues with the government.
He said it was important for the doctors to assist the people, especially the poor, to ensure that they lead healthy lifestyles.
