Call him what you may; a soothsayer, a pastor, a politician on a pulpit, or a prophet of doom. Isaac Owusu Bempah, founder and leader of the Glorious Word Ministry International continues to dominate the headlines in Ghana, often for reasons other than right.
The pastor, who has courted controversy in Ghana for several years appears to have a trigger that sparks such discussions about him.
The 31st of December 2016 was one such day he decided to make use of that trigger.
As is now custom at his church, hundreds of Ghanaians showed up for a 'taste of what to expect' in 2017 and Rev Owusu Bempah was sure to stay the course of not disappointing.
However, some of his utterances on new year's eve seem to have gotten Ghanaians more worried than excited.
The controversial man of God is predicting the deaths of a former president, a former first lady as well as a 'great king' in Ghana.
He's also predicting a terrorist attack in the country, a coup d'etat as well as more clashes between Christians and Muslims in the country.
The prophecies, though intriguing to the several who hear them, have left many pondering what really a 2017 Ghana will look like. But Rev Owusu Bempah could not be bothered about how his prophecies are interpreted. His message is simple: Pray to avert them.

Hmmmmmm prophecies indeed.when they are prophesying they should make a singular prophecies and not plural. anyway I don't believe and will never believe them. I trust in GOD
Lotto Permutation paaa nie . Tweaaaa. Baako kora ambo). hahahhahahahah.
This ***barred word***. I swear, this so call pastor is a 419.
Listen people it only God that can help us. The man is human and he has his flaws but please do not insult him. He is currently in the US and I had an opportunity to hear him speak. All the prophecies he gave were true as the people confirmed it. I had a friend with me and he actually became scared because of how his prophecies are point that he is scared to attend again. All we can do is listen and pray that none come to pass. It is sad we will believe the white man but will not believe our own.
Folks remember that these so called men of God do not have any immunity from God. They are just blaspheming in the name of God for their personal gains. They have mastered their craft because they understand the Ghanaian society of recklessness, corruption and irresponsibility. These attributes makes it easy for anyone to predict danger in Ghana. The lack of safety and security in every sphere of life in Ghana has even make their predictions more predictable. Take for instance health care delivery in Ghana. The lack of world class doctors and quality medications provides a platform for low life expectancy. The lack of ambulance response , provides more grounds for low life expectancy. Unchecked fake medications and backward diagnosis in the hospitals also provides more grounds for low life expectancy. So it is predictable that when someone is rushed to say Korle bu, his or her chances of survival is low. The politicians in Ghana are very much aware of the canker that l have just described. As a result they frequent abroad for their medical care at the expense of unsuspecting tax payers. These failures in delivery and others have provided platforms for these fake men of God to predict more predictable outcomes. These pastors are fake and must be arrested. They have no place in the sane development of Ghana. They have enriched themselves through the ignorance of the people. The governments in Ghana have also fallen prey to their gimmicks. Even the security services have also fallen prey to their gimmicks. Hence nothing but lawlessness in Ghana.
Has any happened? He will explain the failed prophesies away and sure to repeat the same set for next year. More celebrities(Actors, musicians and media practitioners) in Ghana to die - - PEOPLE DIE EVERYDAY.
Some of these fake prophets are just disturbing our faith with their crooked prophecies. They don't even look like Christians .
Oh God forgive our sins and save Ghana from all these dangerous prophecies.
Share your thought not to insults.those insulting are the biggest ***barred word***
