A judge in Kumasi on Thursday December 21, gave a prisoner a rare opportunity to recite the Lord’s Prayer and have his four years sentence struck out but, the convict failed.
The judge who was furious over the prisoner’s failure to utilize the golden opportunity called him “stupid” in open court.
Nonetheless, the High court chaired by Justice Wilson, reduced Owusu Ansah’s jail term from 4 years to 3 months.
The convict was jailed two years ago for stealing, and has been appealing the case.
According to Starrfmonline.com sources, the judge is famous for asking prisoners to either recite the Lord’s Prayer or the national anthem to negotiate their freedom.

My friend, you are rather crazy. What the judge did is very common in the states and other developed countries. Theses are three kind of judges we need. If you prove yourself to be reformed, you go home as a free man. Why are we so paranoid and always sees things from negative perspective. Grow up mate
This judge needs to be called to order by the General Legal Council... Why does he think everyone is a Christian? It's a shame crook and crooked judges are administering justice in this country!
