Do not shy away from hard or unsophisticated work as you could reap many rewards besides the salary, Mr Augustus Enin Attafuah, a guest speaker at a recent event, has said.
He said despite the existence of many opportunities, many young graduates are walking about unemployed and it seems they look down on certain opportunities and even disregard them as unworthy.
Mr Attafuah was speaking at the opening of the Sixth Biennial Congress of the Koforidua Diocese of the Anglican Young People’s Association (AYPA) at Kyebi.
The three day congress is being held under theme: “Rebranding the church and the nation, the role of the Christian youth.”
He urged young Christians to identify their talents, have vision, research more about their vision and pursue it to its logical consequence.
Right Reverend Felix Odei Annancy, Bishop of the Koforidua Diocese of the Anglican Church, said his administration would continue to create more opportunities for the youth of the church as they hold the key to the future of the church.
Rt. Rev. Annancy appealed to professional teachers among the AYPA to make their impact felt in Anglican schools and help implement the many initiatives of the church.
