The Abudu youth in Dagbang are convinced that the Yaa-Naa nominee, Alhaji Abukari Mahama will unite Dagombas when he finally ascends to the Namship.
According to the national President, Alhaji Mugisu Sibawey, the Yaa-Naa nominee succeeded in uniting the people of Savelugu for a common agenda when he was the Yo-Naa.
Alhaji Mugisu Sibawey in an interview gave the assurance that, the Abudu youth will give the Yaa-Naa to be their maximum cooperation and assistance to succeed.
He pleaded with the Yaa-Naa nominee to be neutral and fair in the nomination of substantive chiefs for the vacant skins in the Dagbang Traditional Area.
He said Dagbang at this stage needs an all-inclusive Traditional Council to move the area forward in the right direction.
Alhaji Mugisu advocated the need for the youth of Dagbang to organize a peace march in Yendi and Tamale to demonstrate their oneness.
"No more Abudu and Andani youth, we are now one people and we should come out and tell the whole world that we are now united."
He further called for total ceasefire on what appeared to be a media warfare between leadership of the two Royals in Dagbang ahead of the two late Yaa-Naas funerals performance.
He thanked the three Eminent Kings Mediation Committee, government and all major stakeholders whose contributions permanently resolve the age-long Dagbang chieftaincy matters.
