A section of Okponglo road on the main Madina-Tetteh Quarshie highway, quite close to the free pass entry to the University of Ghana has caved in leading to a partial roadblock.
According to Peace FM's Senior Reporter, Yaw Obeng Manu, the large sinkhole caused traffic on that stretch of the road on the morning of Tuesday, July 23rd.
Residents claim water was emanating from that section following a faulty pipeline and that might have caused the soaked section to cave in.
Meanwhile, some selfless residents took it upon themselves to put measures in place to avert any accident.
