Mary Akosua Korankyewaa, grandmother to eight children has finally received help through Crime Check Foundation, Ghana.
Madam Korankyewaa's daughter passed away a day after giving birth to triplets. Prior to this, she had already given birth to a set of triplets and twins.
A lot of philanthropists came to the aid of the family who lives in Kumasi after Crime Check did the story.
Madam Afia Akoto, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of MASLOC, led a team to present some items to Madam Mary and the kids.
The items include bags of rice, gallons of oil, SMA baby food, diapers, swaddle blankets, burp cloths, detergents among others.
Madam Akoto, during the presentation, promised to give a monthly stipend and register the children on NHIS to be able to access portable health care.
