The Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, Albert Kan-Dapaah, is advocating the setting up of an administrative panel of parliament to ensure that recommendations made by the committee are implemented to the letter.
He said financial malfeasance and anomalies keep recurring each year.
The PAC Chairman said such a panel will be in the best position to ensure that sanctions stipulated in their recommendation are carried out.
Mr. Kan-Dapaah made the observation when he presented one out of three reports of the PAC on the Auditor-General's Report.
The House however deferred the adoption of two of the three reports in order for suggestions to be added to the recommendations before the report is presented.
