Former Supreme Court Judge, Justice Francis Kpegah has rubbished allegations levelled against him by pro-opposition group, Young Patriots alleging that he owes the state over GHC 600,000 unpaid rent in the bungalow he currently occupies.
The group is alleging that for over 6 years, Justice Kpegah has not paid rent to the state.
Speaking to Citi News Justice Kpegah however opined that he enjoyed such benefits because of his position as a retired Supreme Court Judge and questioned, has government appointed them as rent collectors?
I want to tell them that they should go back to the state report which affects all article 71 office holders and I am one of them as a superior court judge he noted.
