An aspirant in the chairmanship race of the NDC, Dan Abodakpi says hes not happy with the way Ghanaians are responding to the economic situation in the country.
He said the economic challenge offers the opportunity to rethink how the nation has carried on over the last 57years.
Mr Abodakpi attributed the challenges to structural defects in the nation's economy.
Mr Abodakpi said Ghana spends over a billion dollars on rice importation when rice farmers in the country cannot find market.
He said one way of boosting the economy is to purchase made in Ghana goods. However Ghanaians do not see this as an option.
