Mr Gordon Asubonteng, the Dormaa Central Municipal Chief Executive, has threatened to terminate the contract of a caterer at Yaw bofokrom for her failure to feed pupils since school re-opened three weeks ago.
He said he would cancel the contract with Madam Grace Badu, the caterer under the School Feeding Programme (SFP) for failing to act appropriately.
Mr Asubonteng issued the threat during a visit to the school as part of his one day working tour of the community that also took him to Atesikrom Duasidan and Tweapiase all in the Municipality.
He got furious when Mr Asante Yeboah, the Assistant Headteacher of the Municipal Assembly Primary School, told him that Madam Badu had withdrawn her services as a result of non ďż˝ payment of her wages.
Mr Asubonteng expressed his displeasure at Mr Yeboah and Madam Badu for not informing him about the matter and therefore declared his intention to invite others to bid for the contract to sustain the programme.
Mr Yeboah said he reported it to the Assemblyman for the area and expected him to inform the MCE for action to be taken.
